Temari Cakes

It's one of the most beautiful recipes ever! It's about Temari cakes.
It's a tredsetting recipe in the weddingbranche. I just saw them and just had that feeling - bake them! This is a total must! It's "just" a cakeball recipe with a complex royal icing "art" ;) So let's head to the list.

For the Dough
125 gr  Butter
80 gr    Sugar
2 tblsp  Vanilla extract
2           Eggs

250 gr     Flour
½ Pck.    Backingsoda
125 ml    Milk

Frosting
 40 gr       Butter
150 gr     Crème fraîche
110 gr     Icing Sugar

Recipe

Bake the Vanilla Cake and let it cool completely.
While coolin > make the frosting. Use  a large bowl, crumble the cake into small crumbs.
I prefer by using my hands -fill in the frosting to the cake crumbles. If you add too much frosting the cake balls will be soggy. So add the frosting and really work into the cake crumbs. Roll the mixture into a ball sized rounds or 1 ounce.
Place the cake balls on a parchment

After forming the cake balls, cool them in the refrigerator for unless 2h.

Now coat the balls with Fondant & decorate with royal icing. It doesn't sound that hard - but believe me it really takes time.
